About Erin J. Michaud

Attorney Erin J. Michaud completed her Juris Doctor with honors from Suffolk Law School in Boston, attaining the Business Law & Financial Services concentration with distinction. She is admitted to the bar in Massachusetts.

While in law school, she received prestigious jurisprudence awards (highest score) in Constitutional Law and Commercial Law, and was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi legal honors society. She is a member of:

• The Worcester County Bar Association

Attorney Michaud's legal practice is shaped by a longstanding fascination with how the law guides business decision-making in moments of growth, transition, and risk. She focuses on advising founders, executives, HNWIs, closely-held businesses, mid-to-large sized companies, and international enterprises operating in Massachusetts on transactional strategy, entity structuring, intellectual property matters, state and federal employment law, and contract frameworks that align legal precision with commercial realities.

Prior to completing law school, Attorney Michaud participated in numerous high-stakes matters first as a legal assistant at a national employer-side employment law firm, and then as a paralegal at a boutique business law firm.

​

Before entering the legal field, Attorney Michaud was an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant supporting families with infants in a Level 3 neonatal intensive care unit. She also taught a popular monthly class for expectant families, owned and operated a private lactation support practice, and performed volunteer work for WIC of Greater Worcester and the Worcester chapter of La Leche League.

Attorney Michaud is a certified sommelier who enjoys restoring antique dollhouses and playing poker. She is a lifelong resident of Shrewsbury where she lives with her family.
